Sid Wilson Proposes to Kelly Osbourne Backstage at Black Sabbath's Final

Slipknot's Sid Wilson, 48, proposed to Kelly Osbourne, 40, backstage during Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, on Saturday, July 5.

Kelly shared a video where Wilson shared how much he loves her by saying, “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything else in the world,” which Ozzy humorously interrupted by saying, “F*** off B. “I don’t care what the law says,” Wilson said, with laughter all around. “You are not marrying my daughter. There’s nothing else that I’d rather do than be with you for the rest of my life. Kelly, in front of family and all our friends, will you marry me? (16)Kelly approved as Wilson slid the ring on her finger. "It gives me goosebumps every time," the Osbournes host, who was in attendance, tells UK Vogue.

Kelly and Sid became parents in 2022 to a baby boy named Sidney. Back in October 2022, Kelly revealed they were expecting a son and shared how thrilled Ozzy was to welcome his first grandson, since Jack has four daughters.

Despite growing media attention, Sid took it all in stride. In an interview with Knotfest that same year, he said, “It doesn't bother me at all… I love her to death. It's just the path I'm meant to be on.” He added with a laugh, “It’s like it was just always happening.”.

They developed a romantic relationship after being friends for more than 20 years. In the Valentine’s Day Instagram post of February 2022, Kelly said she is “deeply in love” with Sid. “After 23 years of friendship I can't believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, you are my soulmate and I am so in love with you Sidney George Wilson.” Sid posted on his own page along with a long caption saying “There are not enough colours in the world to show the palette of love in my heart.

Kelly has often expressed her affection for Sid. She had posted a picture with a travel pillow of his face years ago writing, “Everywhere I go I take my baby with me.” She also shared a quote about love and tagged Wilson.

There is this boy, his laugh makes me smile, his voice gives me butterflies, all of him makes me happy.

Prior to their relationship, Kelly ended things with cinematographer Erik Bragg in late 2021 after a year of dating. In 2021, she opened up on Red Table Talk about her desire for motherhood, saying, “I would have loved to be married and have children by now… but that wasn't what was in the cards for me yet.” She added, reflecting on her past struggles, “I would have been no kind of mother at all… I was that crazy addict who thought I’d stop doing drugs when I got pregnant. That’s insane.”

Now, years later, Kelly’s dream of building a family is becoming reality—with a proposal that blends love, music history, and a legendary family legacy.
